On behalf of the Hayti Reborn-Justice Movement organization, Executive Director of Operations Lisa "LA" Jones accepted the 2024 Sustainability Leadership Award presented at the annual Wakaboomee Earth Day Gala on August 20, 2024, at the City Club Raleigh. The gala celebrates achievements made by individuals and organizations that help to advance environmental and human sustainability.

A March 26, 2024, graduation ceremony celebrated 10 residents who successfully completed the BRIDGE program. BRIDGE is a unique partnership between the Hayti Reborn – Justice Movement (HR-JM) and Durham Technical Community College. The keynote speaker for the celebration was Angelica Stroud Greene, Battalion Fire Chief - City of Durham. Greene is Durham’s first African American Female Battalion Fire Chief.
